TRIPS: ROUTE OF THE MONCAYO.
ROUTE OF THE MONCAYO Murchante, Cascante, Monteagudo, Tarazona, Vozmediano, Moncayo and Veruela.
 
 

In the car, we leave Cabanillas address Tudela. When passing the bridge of the one river Ebro, we go of front by the bridge of the train, we catch the hill of the right and we continue until the round where Murchante indicates.

In Murchante we can see:

  • Parish of the Asunción.
  • Cellars.

In Murchante we catch the highway in address to Cascante, in this town we will visit:

  • The Romero's Virgin that offers panoramic views and wealth monumental.
  • Cellars and oil-press.

Before leaving Cascante, we catch the highway in address to Ablitas and the right, before arriving to this town, it is the lagoon Lor (lagoon that has importance for their wealth faunística). We return for the one same road until the highway of Tarazona.

We follow the trip until arriving to Tulebras, where we will visit:

  • Monastery of Santa María of the Charity (first Cistercian monastery of Spain)

We return again to the route, and when arriving to Monteagudo we visit:

  • Mudejar constructions.
  • Convents.

After their visit, we return to the car to visit Tarazona. In this city we will go for a walk for the canalization of the river Queiles and for the one I crack old of the city., in the one that we will visit:

  • Consistorial, s marries.XVI, in which highlights their magnificent facade.
  • Church of the Magdalena, s.XII.
  • Episcopal Palacio, s. XVI.
  • The old square of bulls octogonal.
  • You marry palatine.

Finally, we catch the highway address Soria and in the one crossing of Vera Cruz of the Moncayo, we begin to ascend until the reservoir of the Val, where we carry out a stop. Subsequently we catch in the next two crossings the highway of the right, to Vozmediano. Locus in quo will visit the nacedero of the river Queiles. We leave the che in the square of the town and we catch the path that it takes us to the nacedero.

When arriving to the first parking, there is a bar restaurant and the center of interpretation of the Moncayo. After having visited the one I center, we ascend for the highway and when arriving to a curve where there is to the left another parking, we leave the vehicle and we go for ourselves a walk for the forest road (magnificent views).
When returning we lower until the interpretation center and we continue of front to the Monastery of Veruela. Here we visit the one monastery.

When concluding the visit, we return to Cabanillas and we can us to stop in a terrace of Tarazona or Tudela to take something.
